James wrote his first computer software at the age of 13. Over the years he has worked with many languages and platforms, from Assembly Language, BASIC, Pascal and Java through to C++ and more recently Microsoft C#.
After 20 years of working for large software companies with blue-chip clients such as Nationwide Building Society, HSBC and Barclays Bank, in 2008 James decided to set up Codespace with the aim of delivering high quality and innovative solutions.

Paul has been working as a software developer since he graduated from Imperial College in 2002. He has worked on large projects in Financial Services, Print and Digital Advertising as well as on innovative smaller company websites.
Having worked on projects with James before he knew that they would form a strong team at Codespace as their skills complement each other well. Paul’s ability to understand new technologies quickly and his tenacious and hard-working approach mean he thrives on delivering projects under time pressure.
