James wrote his first computer software at the age of 13. Over the years he has worked with many languages and platforms, from Assembly Language, BASIC, Pascal and Java through to C++ and more recently Microsoft C#.

After 20 years of working for large software companies with blue-chip clients such as Nationwide Building Society, HSBC and Barclays Bank, in 2008 James decided to set up Codespace with the aim of delivering high quality and innovative solutions.

Senior Developer

Paul has been working as a software developer since he graduated from Imperial College in 2002. He has worked on large projects in Financial Services, Print and Digital Advertising as well as on innovative smaller company websites.

Having worked on projects with James before he knew that they would form a strong team at Codespace as their skills complement each other well. Paul’s ability to understand new technologies quickly and his tenacious and hard-working approach mean he thrives on delivering projects under time pressure.

I love it when game-changing technologies come along - and at Codespace I have the opportunity to use them to deliver rich and intuitive websites for our clients.

Lloyd is an award winning designer, with over twenty years experience in digital and brand identity. Working as creative director he is a conceptual thinker and has a sharp eye for the pixel but maintains a wide angle view of the project as a whole.

He focuses on designing User Interfaces that are intuitive and simple - with the aim of making interactions compelling and to make life easier for the user.
